Guidelines for Group visit application:

1. Visitors consisting of 15 persons or above will be treated as a group and will be required to fill in the Group Visit Registration Form for a public group visit.​

2. The maximum number of visitors in a group should not exceed 120 per time slot.

3. Group visit applications must be submitted at least two weeks before but not more than three months from the date of the group visit. We will reply within seven working days from the date of application. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted.

4. General group visits do not include guided tours, please indicate in the above form if needed. For details, please refer to the application form or call 2100 2828 for enquiries.

5. Please be careful when taking pictures and do not cause any disturbance to other visitors. Tripods are prohibited unless prior permission has been obtained from the Academy.

6. Special Exhibitions may limit the number of visitors or be closed to the public depending on situations without prior notice.

7. For general group visit applications, no guided tours will be provided.

8. In the event that Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory is still in force at or after 8:00 a.m. on any particular day, the group visit will be postponed and the guided tour must be rescheduled within one month with the Academy's confirmation.​

9. The Academy reserves the right to make the final decision via negotiation under any spacial circumstances.​
