Healthy Tuen Ng Festival Zongzi & Perfume Sachet

Make a Fragrant Zongzi  Stitch a Perfume Sachet

The Tuen Ng (Dragon Boat) Festival is fast approaching, and in our “Chinese Traditional Food Workshop” we will share the cultural allusions and special features of this festival. In addition to learning how to make zongzi (rice dumplings), the instructor will also teach you how to make a perfume sachet. Folk tradition has it that at the beginning of summer, it is the custom to making a perfume sachet to wear on the body to get rid of evil and to prevent insects. We welcome everybody to come and have a special festival with us.
